Can I just say how much I love Darwin. Just look at this man. Hated by millions for simply being a curious, free thinker. Plus he had the raddest beard/face combo. Not so fun fact: Darwin was a believer in God (though a skeptic) until his daughter Annie died at the age of 10. He still walked his family to church but never went in himself. This also helped confirm his scientific thoughts, that the life was not predetermined but competitive and ruthless. It’s thought that this tragic event helped him publish “Origin of Species” as well.
